Operations
Nordic Mines was founded in 2005 as an exploration company. Late summer 2011 a new, decisive step was taken in the company's history as it started to mine gold ore at the Laiva mine in Finland - only six years after Nordic Mines had started exploration operations in the area.
Today, Nordic Mines is a fully operational mining company with its operations divided into two divisions - exploration and mining. At the moment, exploration is conducted in six areas where the companys has exploration permits in Finland and Sweden, while mining is conducted at the Laiva mine in Finland.
Exploration
Effective studies of the surface till, drilling and sampling of both the lower layers of the till and the bedrock, as well as continual analysis and evaluation.

Projects
Nordic Mines is conducting continuous, systematic exploration for new deposits. At the moment, the company has investigation permits for 22 areas, covering a total of 37,000 hectares.
